Movies are better than books? In some ways Movies are better but in other ways books are better. The reason movies are better is because it shows you better and you can watch a movie in less time, the reason why books are better is that you can use your imagination and movies leave stuff out.

Movies can show you  better in lots of ways from how you feel to the actions in the movie or in a scene. An example is you could be inspired from the movie from what a character or actor did in the film or scene. This can show how the movie shows you better.

Not only do movies show you better you can also watch a story in less time. The cause for this is that a story from a book can take you a long time to read. In a movie it's not that long at all for example a movie your watching is taking less time the reading a  large chapter book.

A reason why books are better that movies is that you can use your imagination on how you picture the character to be and how it acts. The reason for this is that people imagine more about the story than watching a movie about it, an example for this could be a story that you are reading and you are using your imagination to create a whole other world in you head. 

lastly movies  leave stuff out unlike books because books have all the detail and character's. The reason for this could simply be they didn't want some of the characters in the movie so they decided to cut them out of the movie, an example of this could be that you have read harry potter and you really liked the movie but once you watched the movie you realised some of the character's weren't there.

In conclusion movies are better than books., seems not so different because of the two sides of the question being explained and compared in the end Movies are better because it shows you better and you can watch a story in less time and books are better because you can use your imagination and movies leave stuff out.
